Overlay altitude, GPS route, distance, temperature, and elapsed time onto hiking footage.
Hiking watches record altitude, GPS coordinates, distance, heart rate, and often temperature. MetricsOverlay reads all of these from the FIT file.
The altitude overlay shows current elevation in meters or feet. The elevation graph renders your full hike profile with a moving position indicator.
Temperature data comes from the watch sensor. Wrist-worn sensors pick up body heat, so readings may be higher than ambient.
Works with FIT files from Garmin, COROS, Suunto, Polar, and Apple Watch (via HealthFit or RunGap).
